A Christmas wedding at Eastington Park feels like stepping into a festive film set — especially when fresh snow blankets the grounds. The grand house glows with warmth, fairy lights twinkle against frosted windows, and guests arrive wrapped in winter coats and big smiles. Inside, everything feels cosy and intimate; outside, the white lawns create the most magical backdrop for unforgettable moments. Snow adds a quiet stillness to the day, making confetti throws, couple portraits and evening celebrations feel even more dramatic and romantic. It’s winter wedding magic at its absolute best.

A Winter & Christmas Wedding at Eastington Park

Eastington Park is a venue I know well, having photographed weddings there throughout the year and in every season. As a Gloucestershire wedding venue, it works beautifully in winter.

Surrounded by countryside and filled with elegant Georgian rooms, Eastington Park feels warm and welcoming when the weather turns cold. Guests can settle in, fires are lit, and the house naturally brings everyone together — ideal for a winter wedding.

For Sarah & Chris, it was the perfect setting.

Snow, Celebration and Real Moments

Snow isn’t something you plan for — but when it arrives, you lean into it!

Sarah and Chris had chosen Eastington Park as their wedding venue. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to have photographed lots of weddings at EP. throughout all the seasons (inc this wedding) in the late summer). As a wedding venue, Eastington Park not only is located on the edge of the Cotswolds, just off the M5, it’s easy for wedding guests to get to from Wales, London, Bristol, and Birmingham but it also provides the perfect wedding backdrop, as it’s surrounded by gorgeous countryside and on the inside has an amazing amount of Georgian spacious entertaining areas and accommodation for family and friends to stay in after the party has finished.

As the day unfolded, snowfall transformed the grounds and gave the wedding a calm, almost cinematic feel. We stepped outside briefly to capture a few moments in the snow, keeping things relaxed and natural before everyone returned indoors to warm up and celebrate.

Inside, the atmosphere was exactly what you want from a Christmas wedding: lively, cosy and full of conversation and laughter. Capturing everything candidly, meant that I was in my photographic element!
