The Fleece Inn Weddings

Fleece Arms, Bretforton, Evesham, Worcestershire
A wedding at The Fleece Inn is full of warmth and relaxed countryside charm. With its historic buildings and cosy village setting, the day feels intimate and welcoming, more like a joyful family gathering than a formal event — perfect for natural, candid photography.

Kate & Darren’s wedding was a proper countryside celebration, starting with a lovely ceremony at Mickleton Church before everyone made their way through the Worcestershire lanes towards Evesham and the wonderfully characterful The Fleece Inn in Bretforton.

The Fleece Inn is one of those venues that instantly puts people at ease. Historic timber beams, cosy corners and a big open garden give the whole day a relaxed, welcoming feel — exactly what Kate & Darren wanted. Nothing overly formal, nothing forced… just friends, family and a good excuse for everyone to enjoy themselves.

Once guests arrived, the atmosphere felt more like a summer garden party than a traditional wedding reception. Drinks in hand, people spilled out onto the lawns, laughter carried across the garden and kids happily ran around while the grown-ups caught up properly. It had that easy-going Cotswold countryside vibe that suits an Evesham wedding perfectly.

The beauty of venues like The Fleece Inn is how naturally the day unfolds. There’s space to chat, space to breathe and space for moments to happen without a tight schedule dictating everything. From garden games to relaxed mingling, the whole celebration felt effortless.

I simply blended in with everyone and photographed the day as it happened — capturing the real smiles, the big hugs, the bursts of laughter and all those little in-between moments that make a wedding truly memorable.

A laid-back countryside wedding near Evesham, full of warmth, personality and people properly enjoying themselves. Just how it should be.

A Brilliant Day to Remember

Kate & Darren’s wedding near Evesham was one of those days that simply felt easy from start to finish. No rushing around, no pressure to perform — just genuine moments, great company and a relaxed countryside setting that allowed everyone to properly enjoy themselves.

Weddings at The Fleece Inn really do suit couples who want their day to feel informal, welcoming and full of personality. When the atmosphere is this comfortable, the photographs naturally reflect it.

I loved being part of it all, quietly capturing the laughter, the reunions, the garden fun and the little moments that often go unnoticed. A proper celebration in a beautiful part of the Worcestershire countryside.
