Looking for a Cotswolds wedding photographer who captures the real atmosphere of your day?
Want a modern barn wedding venue in Gloucestershire that feels elegant without being overly traditional?

Set in the North Cotswolds countryside, just outside Stow-on-the-Wold and within easy reach of Cheltenham, Chipping Norton and Broadway, Hyde House has become one of the most popular contemporary wedding venues in Gloucestershire.

What Is a Wedding at Hyde House Really Like?

Do you want your whole day to flow without logistical chaos?

At Hyde House, everything happens on site. Preparations in the beautiful on-site accommodation. Ceremony in the barn. Drinks on the terrace. Speeches and dancing as the light drops over the Cotswolds countryside.

No transport between venues.
No disappearing guests.
No awkward gaps.

The layout is clever — it keeps people moving naturally. Guests drift between the barn and terrace. Conversations spill outside. The energy builds without feeling forced.

It feels calm. Stylish. Effortless.

And that always photographs well.

A Relaxed, Documentary Wedding at Hyde House

Do you want to enjoy your wedding — or manage it?

Photography matters. Of course it does. But it’s only one part of the day. What really matters is marrying your person and having everyone you care about in one place — maybe some travelling across Gloucestershire, the Midlands or further afield to be there.

My approach to Hyde House wedding photography is documentary-led and story-driven. I capture the atmosphere as it unfolds — the anticipation before the ceremony, the hugs during confetti, the laughter on the terrace overlooking the North Cotswolds.

I won’t pull you away for an hour of posed photos. I won’t turn your wedding into a production line.

Your day isn’t a photoshoot — it’s a celebration. And the most meaningful photographs are always the natural ones… don’t you think?

A Collection of Real Hyde House Weddings

This isn’t about one single Hyde House wedding. It’s a collection of moments across different seasons — summer light spilling into the barn, winter weddings with a softer, moodier feel.

Every couple brings something different. Different energy. Different people. Different pace.

But Hyde House consistently delivers that modern Cotswolds backdrop that lets the focus stay on what matters — people.

How Many Group Photos Should You Have at Hyde House?

Do you want 40 minutes of lineup… or 10 minutes and back to the party?

Group photos absolutely have their place. I simply recommend keeping them focused — around 8–10 key groups is usually ideal. Enough to capture the important combinations without interrupting the rhythm of the day.

At Hyde House, the flow is part of the magic. Keeping that intact makes all the difference.
