Is it Possible To Do Group Photos Without Stopping the Day?

Of course! I’m always happy to photograph family and friend group shots — they’re important too. I simply recommend keeping them relaxed and limited. Around 8–10 group photos is usually ideal and means they don’t interrupt the flow of the day or pull you away from your guests for too long. I promise they shouldn’t take no more than 15/20 min and the rest of my time will be photographing the day as it is.

One of the reasons this Cheltenham wedding venue works so well is for its variety. Everywhere you turn is another adorable backdrop. Great for photos obviously plus your guests will be overwhelmed by the Manors impressiveness.

The Victorian Manor House: Characterful interiors such as The Rock Bar (where often the groomsmen hang out before the ceremony), the spacious & decorative Bridal suite. The indoor ceremony room officially known as the Maximillian Room or, elegant staircases and soft natural light.

The Lake & Gardens: Where better to mingle with your guests during the drinks reception than outside the Manor arches or hang out in the expansive formal gardens? The variety also means you are spoilt for choice when it comes to having group photos or informal portraits of yourselves.

I’ve been lucky enough to have photographed weddings in every season at Manor By The Lake. I can genuinely say that it photographs beautifully year-round.
